Great trio favorite science topics for interactive learning!
I have 6 and 3 year old boys and they loved this set because it's all the topics they adore reading and learning about: Sharks, Dinosaurs, Space! My six year old could read most of the text and work independently, but I had to read him the questions a few times. While it is labeled for 3-6, my 3 year old obviously needed us to read to him. Still I think it was a very appropriate reading level for parent-child together time.
The text is minimal, with some side blurbs/captions. Perfect for new readers (1st grade?). The questions are clear and straightforward. These books definitely kept my kids occupied for some time. Also I love the Pen that comes with this set - it's cool, streamlined, and the noises a bit more tame than some of the other Hot Dot pens - there's also the choice to have talking or music noises.
